How to turn off and restart your iPhone 13

If you need to turn off or restart your iPhone 13, here’s how to do it:

To turn off your iPhone 13:

  1. Press and hold the Side button (located on the right side of the phone) and either volume button (located on the left side of the phone) at the same time.
  2. Keep holding the buttons until the “slide to power off” slider appears on the screen.
  3. Use your finger to slide the power off slider to the right.
  4. Your iPhone 13 will now turn off.

To restart your iPhone 13:

  1. Press and quickly release the Volume Up button.
  2. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button.
  3. Press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
  4. Release the Side button, and your iPhone 13 will restart.

It’s important to note that if your iPhone is frozen or unresponsive, you may need to force restart it. To force restart your iPhone 13, follow the steps above for restarting your iPhone, but continue holding the Side button even after the Apple logo appears on the screen. Keep holding the Side button until the “Slide to power off” slider appears, then use your finger to slide the slider to the right to turn off your iPhone.
