Requirements:

1. An Apple TV (4th generation or later) with tvOS 10.0 or later.
2. An iPhone, iPad, or Mac with iOS 10.0 or later, or macOS 10.15 or later.
3. Both the Apple TV and the device you’re using for FaceTime should be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Steps to FaceTime on Apple TV using AirPlay Mirroring:

1. Connect Apple TV to your TV and Set it up: Ensure your Apple TV is properly connected to your television, and you have set it up using your Apple ID.
2. Connect your iOS device or Mac to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV: Make sure both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network to enable AirPlay.
3. Enable AirPlay on your iOS device or Mac:
   • On iOS devices: Swipe down from the top-right corner (iPhone X and later) or up from the bottom of the screen (iPhone 8 and earlier) to access the Control Center. Tap on the “Screen Mirroring” or “AirPlay Mirroring” option (the name may vary depending on your iOS version), and select your Apple TV from the list of available devices.
   • On Mac: Click on the AirPlay icon in the menu bar (a rectangle with an upward-facing arrow), and select your Apple TV from the list of available devices.

5. Make or Receive a FaceTime Call: Use FaceTime as you normally would on your iOS device or Mac. The audio and video from the call will be transmitted to your Apple TV, allowing you to see and hear the call on the big screen.
6. End the FaceTime Call and Disable AirPlay: When you’re done with the FaceTime call, you can end it on your iOS device or Mac. To stop AirPlay mirroring, simply access the Control Center (on iOS devices) or click on the AirPlay icon (on Mac) and select “Turn Off AirPlay” or “Stop Mirroring.”
