How to delete your Twitter account

If you’re looking to delete your Twitter account, here are the steps to do so:

  1. Log in to your Twitter account on the Twitter website.
  2. Click on the More option from the left-hand menu and then click on Settings and privacy.
  3. From the Account tab, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Deactivate your account.
  4. Read through the account deactivation information provided on the page.
  5. Click on Deactivate to proceed with the account deletion process.
  6. Enter your Twitter password when prompted.
  7. Click on Deactivate account to confirm the deletion of your Twitter account.

It’s important to note that your Twitter account will not be deleted immediately. Instead, Twitter will keep your account deactivated for 30 days. During this time, your account will not be visible to other users on Twitter, but you will have the option to reactivate your account if you change your mind.

If you do not log back in within 30 days, your account will be permanently deleted, and all of your tweets, likes, and other data will be removed from Twitter’s servers.
