How to access your passwords in Google Chrome

Google Chrome is a popular web browser that offers a built-in password manager to save and manage your login credentials for various websites. If you have saved passwords in Chrome, you can easily access them using the following steps:

  1. Open Google Chrome and click on the three dots (settings) icon located at the top right corner of the browser window.
  2. From the drop-down menu, select “Settings” option.
  3. Scroll down and click on the “Passwords” option under the “Auto-fill” section.
  4. You will be prompted to enter your computer’s password or PIN to confirm your identity.
  5. Once you have verified your identity, you will see a list of all the websites for which you have saved passwords.
  6. You can click on the eye icon next to each password to view it. You may need to enter your computer’s password or PIN again to reveal the password.
  7. You can also use the search bar at the top of the screen to search for a specific website or password.

Note: It’s important to keep in mind that storing passwords in Google Chrome may pose a security risk if someone gains access to your computer or Google account. Therefore, it’s recommended to use a password manager with stronger security features, such as two-factor authentication and encryption, to store and manage your passwords.
