Make a recording in Voice Memos on iPhone

Here is how to make a recording in Voice Memos on your iPhone –

  1. Open the Voice Memos app on your iPhone. It is typically located on the Home Screen or in the Utilities folder.
  2. Tap on the red circular button in the center of the screen to start recording.
  3. Speak into the microphone of your iPhone to record your audio.
  4. If you want to pause the recording, tap the red button once. Tap it again to resume the recording.
  5. When you are finished recording, tap on the “Done” button to stop the recording.
  6. Give your recording a name by tapping on the “Save” button and typing in a name for your recording.
  7. To listen to your recording, tap on the recording you just made in the list of recordings in the Voice Memos app.
