How to Sign Out of Only One Google (Gmail) Account

To sign out of only one Google (Gmail) account while remaining signed in to other accounts, follow these steps:

On a Computer:

  1. Open your web browser and go to the Google website (www.google.com).
  2. Click on your profile picture or the initial icon in the top-right corner of the page. This will open a dropdown menu showing the Google accounts that are currently signed in.
  3. Move your cursor over the account you want to sign out from. A three-dot menu icon (“More”) will appear next to that account.
  4. Click on the three-dot menu icon next to the account you want to sign out of.
  5. In the menu that appears, click on “Sign out” for that specific account. You will be signed out of the selected account while remaining signed in to your other accounts.

On a Mobile Device:

  1. Open the Gmail or Google app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap on your profile picture or your profile icon in the top-right corner of the app. This will open a menu with the Google accounts that are currently signed in.
  3. Scroll down to the account you want to sign out from.
  4. Tap on the three-dot menu icon (“More”) next to the account you want to sign out of.
  5. In the menu that appears, tap on “Remove account” or “Sign out” for that specific account. The wording may vary depending on the app and device.
  6. Confirm your choice when prompted. You will be signed out of the selected account while remaining signed in to your other accounts.
