How to See What You’ve Watched on Netflix and other Streaming Services

Ever wondered exactly how much time you’ve poured into streaming shows and movies? Or maybe you’re trying to revisit that hidden gem you watched ages ago. Luckily, most streaming services allow you to delve into your viewing history, offering a glimpse into your past cinematic choices. Here’s how to access this feature on some popular platforms:

Netflix:

  1. Login to your Netflix account on a web browser.
  2. Hover over your profile picture in the top right corner and select “Account” from the dropdown menu.
  3. Scroll down to the “Profile & Parental Controls” section and select the profile you want to see the history for.
  4. Click on “Viewing activity”. This will display a list of everything you’ve watched on that profile, including the date you watched it.
  5. (Optional) Download your entire viewing history: At the bottom of the page, you’ll see an option to “Download all.” This creates a .CSV file containing a record of everything you’ve watched.

Disney+:

  1. Open the Disney+ app or website and sign in to your account.
  2. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner and select “Account Settings” from the menu.
  3. Under “Watch History,” you’ll see a list of the movies and shows you’ve recently watched. Unfortunately, Disney+ doesn’t currently offer an option to view your entire watch history or download it.

Hulu:

  1. Log in to your Hulu account on a web browser.
  2. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner and select “Account” from the dropdown menu.
  3. Under “Your Account History,” you’ll see a section titled “Continue Watching.” This shows the movies and shows you’ve recently started watching.
  4. Hulu currently doesn’t offer a way to view your entire watch history.

Amazon Prime Video:

  1. Go to the Prime Video website and sign in to your account.
  2. Click on the dropdown menu next to the search bar and select “Watchlist & Watch History.”
  3. Here you’ll see two tabs: “Watchlist” and “Watch History.” The Watch History tab displays the movies and shows you’ve recently watched on Prime Video.
  4. Similar to Hulu, Prime Video doesn’t offer a way to view your entire watch history.

General Tips:

  • Keep in mind that some platforms may only show your recent watch history or a limited timeframe.
  • If you have multiple profiles on your streaming service accounts, you’ll need to check the viewing history for each profile individually.
  • While some services allow you to download your watch history, others may not.

By following these steps, you can unlock the treasure trove of your streaming past. This can be helpful for rediscovering hidden gems, tracking your progress on ongoing shows, or simply reminiscing about your cinematic adventures. So, delve into your watch history and see what forgotten favorites await!
