How to Screen Mirror Your Android to a TV or Computer

Screen mirroring allows you to display the contents of your Android device, such as your smartphone or tablet, on a larger screen like a TV or computer. Here’s how you can screen mirror your Android device to a TV or computer:

Screen Mirroring to a TV:

  1. Using Chromecast:
    • Ensure your TV and Chromecast are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
    • Open the Google Home app on your Android device.
    • Tap on the “Cast” icon, then select your Chromecast device.
    • Your Android device’s screen should now be mirrored on the TV.
  2. Using Built-in Screen Mirroring (Samsung Devices):
    • Swipe down from the top of the screen to access the Quick Settings menu.
    • Look for and tap on “Smart View” or “Screen Mirroring.”
    • Select your TV from the available devices to start screen mirroring.
  3. Using Third-Party Apps: There are apps available on the Google Play Store, like “AllCast,” that allow you to cast content from your Android device to a compatible TV.

Screen Mirroring to a Computer:

  1. Using USB Cable (Android to PC):
    • Connect your Android device to your computer using a USB cable.
    • On your Android device, go to “Settings” > “Connected devices” > “USB.”
    • Change the USB option to “File Transfer” or “Media Transfer Protocol (MTP).”
    • Your Android device’s content should now be accessible on your computer.
  2. Using Vysor (Android to PC):
    • Install the Vysor app on your Android device from the Google Play Store.
    • Install the Vysor Chrome extension on your computer’s Chrome browser.
    • Connect your Android device to your computer via USB.
    • Open Vysor on both your Android device and Chrome browser. Your Android screen should appear on your computer.
  3. Using Third-Party Apps (AirDroid, ApowerMirror, etc.): There are several apps available that allow you to mirror your Android device’s screen to your computer wirelessly. Install the app on both your Android device and computer and follow the instructions for connection.

Remember that the steps might vary slightly depending on the brand and model of your Android device, TV, or computer. Additionally, ensure that both your Android device and the device you’re mirroring to are compatible and connected to the same network for the best results.
