To screen mirror (also known as screen mirroring or casting) from an iPhone to a Samsung TV, you can use a feature called AirPlay, which is available on newer Samsung TVs. Here’s how to do it:

Requirements:

  • A compatible Samsung TV (2018 model or newer) with AirPlay support.
  • An iPhone running iOS 11 or later.

Steps:

  1. Ensure Both Devices Are on the Same Wi-Fi Network: Make sure your iPhone and Samsung TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. Enable AirPlay on Your Samsung TV: On your Samsung TV, navigate to the main menu and find the “AirPlay” or “Screen Mirroring” option. Depending on your TV model, the location of this option might vary. Turn on the AirPlay feature.
  3. Enable AirPlay on Your iPhone: On your iPhone, swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen to open the Control Center.

    For iPhones with iOS 12 or later:

    • Tap on the “Screen Mirroring” or “AirPlay Mirroring” icon.
    • A list of available devices will appear. Select your Samsung TV from the list.

    For iPhones with iOS 11:

    • Tap on “AirPlay Mirroring.”
    • A list of available devices will appear. Select your Samsung TV from the list.
  4. Enter the AirPlay Code: Your Samsung TV might display a code on the screen. Enter this code on your iPhone to establish the connection between the two devices.
  5. Start Screen Mirroring: Once the connection is established, your iPhone’s screen will be mirrored on the Samsung TV.
  6. End Screen Mirroring: To stop screen mirroring, you can either swipe up from the bottom of the iPhone’s screen to open the Control Center and tap the “Stop Mirroring” option or return to the AirPlay menu on your Samsung TV and select “Stop AirPlay.”

Please note that while AirPlay is the preferred method for screen mirroring from an iPhone to a Samsung TV, there might be some variations based on the specific TV model and software updates. If your Samsung TV doesn’t support AirPlay, you might need to consider other options like using a compatible streaming device or smart TV features to achieve screen mirroring.
