There are two ways to power off or restart your Samsung Galaxy S20:
Using the power button
- Press and hold the power button for about 7 seconds.
- A menu will appear. Select “Power off” or “Restart.”
Using the Quick Settings panel
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick Settings panel.
- Tap the power button icon.
- A menu will appear. Select “Power off” or “Restart.”
Here are some things to keep in mind when powering off or restarting your Samsung Galaxy S20:
- If your phone is frozen or not responding, you can force it to restart by pressing and holding the power button and the volume down button at the same time for about 7 seconds.
- If you are having trouble powering off or restarting your phone, you can try restarting in Safe Mode. To do this, press and hold the power button and the volume down button at the same time until you see the Safe Mode message appear on the screen. Once your phone is in Safe Mode, you can try powering it off or restarting it normally.
- If you are still having trouble powering off or restarting your phone, you may need to take it to a repair center.
