How to Hide What Game You’re Playing on Discord

Here are the steps on how to hide what game you’re playing on Discord:

  1. Open Discord.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the bottom left corner of the screen. This will open the User Settings menu.
  3. Click on the Activity tab.
  4. Under the Activity Privacy section, uncheck the box next to Display current activity as a status message.
  5. Click Save.

This will prevent Discord from showing what game you are currently playing in your status message. However, your friends will still be able to see your game activity if they click on your profile.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind:

  • If you have any games that you do not want your friends to see, you can remove them from the list of Registered Games. To do this, click on the Registered Games tab in the Activity Privacy section and then click on the red X icon next to the game that you want to remove.
  • If you want to hide what game you are playing for a specific server, you can do so by going to the Server Settings for that server and then clicking on the Activity tab. Under the Activity Privacy section, uncheck the box next to Display current activity as a status message.

Remember that these methods only hide the game you’re playing on Discord; other users will still be able to see your status, such as “Online,” “Do Not Disturb,” or “Idle.” If you don’t want anyone to see your status at all, you can manually set your status to “Invisible” in the status dropdown instead of using “Do Not Disturb.”

Please note that Discord’s interface and features may change with updates, so if you’re using a more recent version of the application, the steps and options might be slightly different. However, the general concepts of accessing the settings and managing your status should remain consistent.
