How to hide apps, photos, and files on Android devices

Sometimes, you may want to hide certain apps, photos, or files on your Android device to maintain your privacy or to prevent others from accessing them. Here are some ways to hide apps, photos, and files on Android devices:

Hide Apps:

  1. Use a third-party app: There are many third-party apps available on the Google Play Store that can help you hide apps on your Android device. Some popular ones include AppLock, Hide App, and Calculator Vault.
  2. Disable apps: Another way to hide apps is to disable them. Go to “Settings” > “Apps & notifications” > “App info” and select the app you want to hide. Tap on “Disable” and the app will be hidden from your app drawer.

Hide Photos:

  1. Use a third-party app: You can use third-party apps like Keepsafe, Gallery Vault, or Vaulty to hide your photos. These apps allow you to store your photos in a secure, password-protected vault.
  2. Use a file manager: You can also hide your photos by moving them to a hidden folder using a file manager. Create a new folder and add a “.” before the name to make it a hidden folder. Move your photos to this folder and they will be hidden from your gallery.

Hide Files:

  1. Use a third-party app: You can use apps like File Hide Expert or Hide Something to hide your files. These apps allow you to create a secure, password-protected vault to store your files.
  2. Use a file manager: You can also hide your files by moving them to a hidden folder using a file manager. Create a new folder and add a “.” before the name to make it a hidden folder. Move your files to this folder and they will be hidden from your file manager.

Note: Hiding apps, photos, and files is not a foolproof way to protect your privacy. Anyone with access to your device can still find hidden items. For better security, you can use strong passwords, enable two-factor authentication, and avoid sharing your device with others.
