How to delete an Instagram post permanently or archive it to be restored later

Here are the steps on how to delete an Instagram post permanently or archive it to be restored later:

To delete an Instagram post permanently:

1. Open the Instagram app and go to your profile.
2. Tap on the post you want to delete.
3. Tap the three dots in the top right corner.
4. Tap Delete.
5. Tap Delete again to confirm.

To archive an Instagram post:

1. Open the Instagram app and go to your profile.
2. Tap on the post you want to archive.
3. Tap the three dots in the top right corner.
4. Tap Archive.

Archived posts are hidden from your profile but you can still access them in the Archive section. To view your archived posts:

1. Open the Instagram app and go to your profile.
2. Tap the three lines in the top right corner.
3. Tap Archive.

You can also delete archived posts from the Archive section. To do this, tap on the post you want to delete and then tap Delete.

Note: If you delete a post permanently, it will be gone from your account and you will not be able to restore it. If you archive a post, you can still restore it to your profile at any time.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind:

• You can only delete or archive your own posts. You cannot delete or archive posts that you have liked or commented on.
• If you delete a post that has been saved by other users, the post will still be saved in their accounts.
