Apple Watch Stuck on the Apple Logo? Try These Fixes

If your Apple Watch is stuck on the Apple logo and not responding, it can be frustrating. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Force Restart: Press and hold both the side button and the digital crown simultaneously for at least 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. This should force restart the Apple Watch and may resolve the problem.
  2. Charge the Apple Watch: Ensure that your Apple Watch has enough battery charge. Connect it to the charger and let it charge for at least 30 minutes. Sometimes, a low battery can cause unexpected issues.
  3. Unpair and Pair the Apple Watch: If force restarting didn’t work, you can try unpairing the Apple Watch from your iPhone and then pair it again. Here’s how:
    • On your iPhone, open the “Watch” app.
    • Go to “My Watch” tab and tap on your Apple Watch at the top of the screen.
    • Tap the (i) icon next to the watch name.
    • Choose “Unpair Apple Watch.” Confirm when prompted.
    • After unpairing, set up your Apple Watch again by following the on-screen instructions.
  4. Update WatchOS: Make sure your Apple Watch is running the latest version of WatchOS. To check for updates:
    • On your iPhone, open the “Watch” app.
    • Go to “My Watch” tab, then go to “General” > “Software Update.”
    • If an update is available, follow the prompts to download and install it.
  5. Restore from Backup: If the problem persists, you can try restoring your Apple Watch from a backup. This will revert it to a previous state when it was functioning correctly. Here’s how:
    • On your iPhone, open the “Watch” app.
    • Go to “My Watch” tab, then tap “General.”
    • Select “Reset” > “Erase Apple Watch Content and Settings.”
    • After erasing, set up your Apple Watch again and choose to restore from a backup when prompted.
  6. Contact Apple Support: If none of the above steps work, and your Apple Watch is still stuck on the Apple logo, it’s best to contact Apple Support or visit an Apple Store for further assistance. There might be an underlying hardware issue that requires professional diagnosis and repair.

Remember that some of these steps will erase data from your Apple Watch, so it’s essential to have a recent backup if possible. If the issue is persistent, it’s always best to seek help from Apple Support or an authorized service provider.
