There are two ways to unfollow people on Instagram:
- From your profile page:
- Open the Instagram app.
- Tap on your profile picture in the bottom right corner.
- Tap on “Following” at the top of your profile.
- Scroll through the list of people you’re following and find the person you want to unfollow.
- Tap on the three dots next to their name.
- Tap on “Unfollow.”
- From the person’s profile page:
- Open the Instagram app.
- Find the person you want to unfollow.
- Tap on their profile picture.
- Tap on the number of followers they have.
- Scroll through the list of their followers and find your name.
- Tap on your name.
- Tap on “Unfollow.”
When you unfollow someone, they will not be notified. You can also unfollow multiple people at once by tapping and holding on the first person you want to unfollow, then tapping on the other people you want to unfollow.
Here are some additional tips for unfollowing people on Instagram:
- You can use the “Following” tab on your profile page to see a list of all the people you’re following. This can be helpful if you want to unfollow a large number of people at once.
- You can use the “Following” tab on someone’s profile page to see a list of all the people they’re following. This can be helpful if you want to unfollow someone who is following a lot of people you don’t know.
- You can use the “Insights” tab on your profile page to see a list of your most engaged followers. This can be helpful if you want to unfollow people who are not engaging with your content.
- You can use a third-party app to unfollow people on Instagram. There are a number of apps available that can help you unfollow people quickly and easily.
