How to Turn Off an iPhone 11

To turn off an iPhone 11, follow these steps:

  1. Press and hold the Side button and either volume button until the slide to power off slider appears on the screen.
  2. Slide the power off slider to the right to turn off the iPhone.
  3. Wait for the iPhone to turn off completely. The screen will go black.

Note: If you have an iPhone with Face ID, pressing and holding the Side button and volume button will bring up the Emergency SOS feature instead of the slide to power off slider. To turn off the iPhone, quickly press and release the volume up button, then quickly press and release the volume down button, and then press and hold the Side button until the slide to power off slider appears on the screen.
