How to “Hide” an App on Your iPhone or iPad

There is no way to completely hide an app on your iPhone or iPad. However, you can move it to the App Library, which is a hidden folder that contains all of your apps. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the App Library.
  2. Find the app that you want to hide.
  3. Long-press on the app icon.
  4. Drag the app icon to the Remove button at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Tap Remove from Home Screen.

The app will now be moved to the App Library. You can still access it by opening the App Library and searching for the app.

If you want to prevent someone from seeing the App Library, you can turn on a passcode for your iPhone or iPad. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Touch ID & Passcode (or Face ID & Passcode).
  3. Enter your current passcode.
  4. Tap Turn Passcode On.
  5. Enter a new passcode.
  6. Enter the new passcode again to confirm.

Once you have turned on a passcode, you will be prompted to enter it whenever you try to access the App Library.
