How to Delete Your Photos on Facebook – How-To Geek

To delete your photos on Facebook, you can follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Facebook account using your preferred web browser.
  2. Navigate to your profile by clicking on your name or profile picture at the top of the Facebook homepage.
  3. Once you’re on your profile, click on the “Photos” tab below your cover photo. This will display all the photo albums you have on Facebook.
  4. Select the album that contains the photo you want to delete. If the photo is not in an album, you can skip this step.
  5. Locate the photo you want to delete and hover your cursor over it. You should see a small pencil icon (edit) appear in the top right corner of the photo.
  6. Click on the pencil icon, and a dropdown menu will appear. Select the “Delete This Photo” option from the menu.
  7. A confirmation pop-up will appear asking if you want to delete the photo. Click on “Delete” to confirm.
  8. Repeat these steps for any additional photos you wish to delete.

It’s important to note that when you delete a photo on Facebook, it will be permanently removed from your account and will no longer be accessible to you or others who may have had access to it.

Remember to review your privacy settings on Facebook to control who can view and interact with your photos. Additionally, keep in mind that if you’ve been tagged in someone else’s photo, you may need to ask them to remove the tag or delete the photo if you want it completely removed from Facebook.
