How to Create an Email List for Gmail to Send Group Emails

To create an email list for Gmail to send group emails, you can follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account and click on the “Google Apps” icon in the top-right corner of the screen. Select “Contacts” from the list of apps.
  2. In the Contacts page, click on the “Create label” button located on the left-hand side of the screen. This will allow you to create a new label for your email list.
  3. Name your new label by typing a name in the “Label name” field. For example, if you are creating an email list for your coworkers, you could name it “Coworkers.”
  4. Click on the “Create” button to create your new label.
  5. To add contacts to your new label, click on the “All contacts” dropdown menu located on the left-hand side of the screen. Select the contacts that you want to add to your email list by clicking on the checkboxes next to their names.
  6. Once you have selected all the contacts you want to add, click on the “Labels” icon located above the contacts list. Check the box next to the label you just created, and then click on “Apply” to add the selected contacts to your email list.
  7. To send a group email to your new email list, compose a new email as you normally would. In the “To” field, start typing the name of the label you just created. Gmail will auto-suggest the label as you type. Click on the label when it appears, and all the contacts in that label will be added to the “To” field.
  8. Finish composing your email, and click on the “Send” button to send it to your email list.

That’s it! Now you can easily send group emails to your new email list in Gmail.
