How to Disable the Gutenberg WordPress Editor

To disable the Gutenberg editor in WordPress and keep the classic editor, you can install and activate the “Classic Editor” plugin. The plugin can be found in the official WordPress plugin repository and can be installed directly from the WordPress dashboard.

Here’s how you can install the plugin:

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Go to “Plugins” -> “Add New”.
  3. Search for “Classic Editor”.
  4. Click the “Install Now” button next to the plugin.
  5. After the installation is complete, activate the plugin.

Once the plugin is activated, it will automatically disable the Gutenberg editor and keep the classic editor as the default editor for all posts and pages in your WordPress site.
