Step 1: Open the Voice Memos app Open the Voice Memos app on your iPhone. You can find it on your home screen or by searching for it in Spotlight.
Step 2: Find the recording you want to play Scroll through your list of recordings and tap on the one you want to play. If you have a lot of recordings, you can use the search bar at the top of the screen to find a specific recording by name.
Step 3: Play the recording Once you have selected the recording you want to play, tap on the play button (the triangle-shaped icon) to start playback. The play button is located in the center of the screen, at the bottom.
Step 4: Adjust the volume and playback speed While the recording is playing, you can adjust the volume by using the volume buttons on the side of your iPhone. You can also adjust the playback speed by tapping the “1x” button to the left of the play button and choosing a different speed.
Step 5: Pause or stop the recording If you want to pause the recording, tap the pause button (the two vertical bars) in the center of the screen. If you want to stop the recording completely, tap the stop button (the square) to the left of the play button.
Step 6: Skip forward or backward You can skip forward or backward in the recording by dragging the playback slider along the timeline. You can also tap on a specific point on the timeline to jump to that point in the recording.
Step 7: Share or delete the recording If you want to share the recording with someone else, tap the share button (the square with an upward arrow) in the bottom left corner of the screen. If you want to delete the recording, tap the trash can icon in the bottom right corner of the screen and confirm that you want to delete the recording.
