Windows does not provide a built-in tool to format USB drives larger than 32GB with the FAT32 file system. However, you can use a third-party tool to format the USB drive with FAT32. Here’s how to do it:
- Download and install the free FAT32 Formatter tool. You can download it from the official website: http://tokiwa.qee.jp/EN/Fat32Formatter/
- Connect the USB drive to your computer.
- Open the FAT32 Formatter tool.
- Select the USB drive you want to format from the list of available drives. Make sure you select the correct drive as formatting will erase all data on the drive.

- Choose the allocation unit size. The default allocation unit size should be fine for most uses.
