How to Undo in Apple Notes

If you’re using the Apple Notes app on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, you can easily undo your most recent action by shaking your device or using the keyboard shortcut. Here’s how:

  1. Shake your iPhone or iPad: If you’ve just made a mistake in the Notes app, you can quickly undo it by shaking your iPhone or iPad. A pop-up window will appear with the options to “Undo” or “Cancel”. Tap “Undo” to undo your last action.
  2. Use the keyboard shortcut: If you’re using a Mac or an iPad with an external keyboard, you can use the keyboard shortcut “Command + Z” to undo your last action. This will work whether you’ve just typed some text, deleted some text, or made any other change in the Notes app.

Note that the undo function in Apple Notes is only able to undo your most recent action. If you’ve made multiple changes since your last save, you may not be able to undo all of them. In this case, you may need to manually make the necessary changes to correct any mistakes.
