To start Google Maps in satellite view, you can follow these steps:
- Open Google Maps: Open the Google Maps app on your mobile device or go to maps.google.com on your desktop web browser.
- Find a location: Search for the location you want to view in satellite view by typing the address or the name of the location in the search bar.
- Switch to satellite view: Once you have found the location, tap on the “Satellite” button in the lower-left corner of the screen on mobile devices, or click on the “Satellite” button in the bottom-left corner of the screen on desktop browsers.
- Explore the location: The map will now show you the satellite view of the location you searched for. You can pinch and zoom to get a closer look, or pan around to explore the area.
Note: In satellite view, you can also enable the 3D view by selecting the “3D” button in the lower-left corner of the screen on mobile devices, or by clicking on the “Earth” button in the bottom-left corner of the screen on desktop browsers. This will give you a 3D view of the location, which you can rotate and tilt for a more immersive experience.
