Pairing your Roku remote:

1. Identify your remote type: Roku offers different remote types, including simple IR remotes and voice remotes with Bluetooth. Knowing your type helps find the correct pairing method.

2. Simple IR remote (without a pairing button):

   • Turn on your Roku device.
   • Remove the batteries from your remote for a few seconds and then re-insert them.
   • Your remote should automatically pair with your Roku device.

3. Voice remote (with a pairing button):

   • Locate the pairing button:
     • Standard: Inside the battery compartment, usually near the bottom.
     • Rechargeable: On the back of the remote, near the bottom.
   • Press and hold the pairing button for 5 seconds. The status light will start flashing.
   • Wait for 30 seconds for the remote to connect to your Roku device.

Resetting your Roku remote:

1. Remove the batteries from your remote.
2. Wait 5 seconds.
3. Re-insert the batteries.
4. For voice remotes:
   • Press and hold the pairing button for 20 seconds. The status light will flash slowly, then rapidly. Release the button after seeing the rapid flash.
   • Then, press and hold the pairing button again for 5 seconds until the status light starts flashing.
5. For simple IR remotes (without a pairing button):
   • Press and hold the Home button and Back button simultaneously for 5 seconds until the status light starts flashing.
