To log out of the Amazon app or website, follow these steps:

On the Amazon Mobile App:

  1. Open the Amazon app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap on the “Menu” icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner of the screen. This will open the main menu.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the menu and tap on “Settings.”
  4. In the Settings menu, tap on “Not [Your Name]?” or “Switch Accounts.”
  5. If prompted, enter your Amazon account password or use biometric authentication (if enabled) to verify your identity.
  6. Tap on “Sign out” to log out of your Amazon account.

On the Amazon Website (Desktop):

  1. Open your web browser and go to the Amazon website (www.amazon.com).
  2. Hover your mouse over “Hello, Sign in” or “Accounts & Lists” in the top-right corner of the page. This will open a dropdown menu.
  3. In the dropdown menu, click on “Sign Out” or “Not [Your Name]?”
  4. If prompted, enter your Amazon account password to verify your identity.
  5. Click on “Sign Out” to log out of your Amazon account.

After completing these steps, you will be signed out of your Amazon account on the app or website. If you want to sign in again, you can do so by entering your account credentials when prompted. Signing out is essential, especially when using shared devices, to protect your account’s security and privacy.
