How to find Google Analytics Tracking ID

If you’re setting up Google Analytics for the first time, you’ll need to find your tracking ID before you can start tracking your website’s traffic. Here’s how to find your Google Analytics Tracking ID:

Step 1: Sign in to Your Google Analytics Account

To get started, sign in to your Google Analytics account at analytics.google.com using your Google account.

Step 2: Select the Account and Property

Once you’ve signed in to your account, select the account and property that you want to find the tracking ID for from the drop-down menus in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Step 3: Navigate to the Tracking Info Section

Click on the “Admin” button in the left-hand menu and navigate to the “Property” column. From there, click on “Tracking Info” and select “Tracking Code”.

Step 4: Find Your Tracking ID

Your tracking ID is located near the top of the page in the “Tracking ID” section. It’s a unique code that starts with “UA-“. For example, “UA-123456789-1”.

That’s it! You’ve found your Google Analytics tracking ID. You can now use this tracking ID to set up Google Analytics on your website and start tracking your website’s traffic.
