Blocking text messages on Android can be done using the following steps:

1. Open the Messages app on your Android device.
2. Select the conversation that you want to block.
3. Tap and hold on the conversation until a menu appears.
4. Select “Block” or “Block number.”
5. If prompted, confirm that you want to block the number.
