Bella Hadid is a well-known name in the entertainment industry, specifically in the modeling world. But aside from her successful career, she has also garnered attention for her personal beliefs, particularly regarding religion.
There have been many speculations and assumptions surrounding Bella Hadid’s religious beliefs due to her family background. However, it is not fair to label or assume someone’s religion without proper confirmation from the individual themselves. Therefore, this article will focus on what we do know about Bella Hadid’s relationship with religion.
Firstly, it should be noted that Bella Hadid comes from a culturally diverse family. Her father is of Palestinian descent and was raised as a Muslim while her mother is of Dutch descent with Christian roots. Growing up in such a household undoubtedly exposed Bella to both Islam and Christianity.
However, just like any other person, it is essential to respect an individual’s right to choose their own beliefs. In several interviews and social media posts, Bella has mentioned how she considers herself spiritual but does not associate with any particular religion actively.
In one instance during an interview with Porter magazine in 2018, when asked about her spirituality and connection to Islam through her father’s heritage, Bella responded by saying that she believes in God but does not follow any specific religious rules or practices.
Similarly,Jad Chouman reported for the National on April 16th 2019 that when questioned about participating in Ramadan (a month-long fast observed by Muslims), Bella stated that she respects all religions but does not necessarily practice any religious rituals herself
