To change the page color in Microsoft Word, you can follow these steps:
- Open Microsoft Word and open the document in which you want to change the page color.
- Click on the “Design” tab in the ribbon at the top of the Word window. This tab contains various options for formatting the document’s appearance.
- In the “Page Background” group of options, you’ll find the “Page Color” button. Click on it to open the Page Color menu.
- The Page Color menu will display a variety of color options. You can choose from standard colors, theme colors, or even create a custom color. Move your cursor over the color options to see a live preview of how the page will look.
- Select the desired color by clicking on it. The selected color will be applied to the entire page.
- If you can’t find the color you want in the Page Color menu, you can choose the “More Colors” option at the bottom of the menu. This will open the Colors dialog box, where you can pick a color from the standard color palette or create a custom color by adjusting the RGB or HSL values.
- After selecting the desired color, click on the “OK” button to apply it to the page.
The page color will be changed, and you will see the new color as the background of your Word document. You can adjust the page color at any time by following the same steps.
Please note that the steps mentioned above are applicable to Microsoft Word for Windows. The process may vary slightly if you are using a different version of Word or if you are using Word on a different operating system such as macOS.
