Google Discover, formerly known as Google Feed, is a personalized content discovery platform provided by Google. It displays a feed of articles, news, videos, and other relevant content based on your interests, search history, and browsing activity. The content is tailored to your preferences and displayed on the Google app or the Google Discover feed on some Android home screens.
To view Google Discover on your phone, follow these steps:
- Ensure you have the Google app installed: Make sure you have the Google app installed on your Android phone. If it’s not already installed, you can download it from the Google Play Store.
- Open the Google app: Locate the Google app icon on your home screen or in the app drawer. Tap on it to launch the app.
- Navigate to the Google Discover feed: In the Google app, you’ll see a search bar at the top. Below the search bar, you should see a scrollable feed of articles and content cards. This is the Google Discover feed.
- Explore the content: Swipe up or down on the screen to scroll through the Google Discover feed. Each card represents a different article or content item. You can tap on a card to open and read the full article or view related content.
- Customize your interests (optional): Google Discover learns your interests over time, but you can also customize the content it shows you. Tap on the profile icon or the three-line menu icon in the bottom right corner of the Google app. From there, select “Settings” and then “Discover.” Here, you can choose your preferred topics, adjust your content preferences, or manage your feed settings.
Note: Google Discover may not be available on all Android devices or in all regions. It is also dependent on your Google account activity and preferences. If you don’t see the Discover feed in the Google app, your device might not support it.
That’s it! You can now view and explore Google Discover on your phone using the Google app. Enjoy discovering personalized content tailored to your interests.
