Passing On, a journey we must all take,
A journey to the unknown we must make.
It’s a part of life, we cannot deny,
A path we walk, until the day we die.

Though it may be frightening, we must embrace,
The end of life and its eternal space.
For death is not an end, but just a change,
A transformation that’s beyond our range.

Our time on earth, a fleeting moment’s span,
But the memories we leave, will always stand.
For the love we give, the lives we touch,
Will live on, long after we are gone.

So let us cherish every day we’re blessed,
And prepare for the journey to our rest.
