Manage & delete your Search history

Managing and deleting your search history is important for protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is not being shared with others. You can manage and delete your search history from any device that you use to access Google Search.

To manage and delete your search history on a computer:

  1. Go to myactivity.google.com.
  2. Click Control your activity.
  3. Click Web & App Activity.
  4. Click Delete activity.
  5. Select a Time range.
  6. Click Delete.

You can also choose to Delete all time or Delete custom range. To delete all time, click All time and then click Delete. To delete a custom range, click Delete custom range and then select the start and end dates for the range you want to delete.

To manage and delete your search history on an Android device:

  1. Open the Google app.
  2. Tap your Profile picture or initial.
  3. Tap Search history.
  4. Choose the search history you want to delete. You can choose:
    • All your search history: Tap Delete, then Delete all time.
    • A specific time period: Tap Delete, then Delete custom range and select the start and end dates for the range you want to delete.
  5. To delete individual search items, touch and hold the search item you want to delete, then tap Delete.

You can also choose to Delete search history from device. To do this, tap Delete search history from device, then tap Delete. This will delete your search history from your device, but it will not delete it from your Google Account.

By managing and deleting your search history, you can help to protect your privacy and ensure that your personal information is not being shared with others.
