sudo apt-get update

Type  “sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop” to install the Gnome desktop.

Type  “sudo apt-get install ubuntu-unity-desktop” to install the Gnome desktop.

Type “sudo apt-get install xubuntu-desktop” to install the Unity desktop.
Install Unity
Reboot
