How to Track Changes in Google Docs

Google Docs has a built-in feature that allows you to track changes made to a document. Here’s how to use it:

  1. Open the document you want to track changes for.
  2. Click on “Editing” in the top right corner and select “Suggesting” from the dropdown menu. This will turn on the Track Changes feature.
  3. Make your changes to the document. Any changes you make will be highlighted in a different color and will be accompanied by a comment indicating who made the change.
  4. Review and accept or reject changes as needed. To do this, click on the highlighted text and select “Accept” or “Reject” from the comment box.
  5. To turn off Track Changes, click on “Editing” and select “Editing” from the dropdown menu.

Note: You can also use the “Viewing” mode to review changes without accepting or rejecting them.

By using the Track Changes feature in Google Docs, you can keep track of edits made to a document and collaborate more efficiently with others.
