How to see your Wi-Fi password on Android

If you’ve forgotten your Wi-Fi password on your Android device, you can still see it if you have previously connected to the network. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Go to the Settings app on your Android device.
  2. Tap on Wi-Fi to see the list of available networks.
  3. Find the network whose password you want to view and tap on it.
  4. Tap on the Share button (usually represented by three dots) located in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  5. Tap on the QR code icon (usually represented by a small square with black and white patterns).
  6. A QR code will be generated, and you will see the network’s SSID (name) and password underneath it.
  7. Take a screenshot of the QR code and share it with yourself or anyone who needs the password.

Alternatively, you can also use a third-party app to view your Wi-Fi password. One such app is called WiFi Password Viewer by SimoneDev, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. However, note that using third-party apps to view Wi-Fi passwords may not be secure, and it’s always recommended to use the first method mentioned above, which is provided by the Android system itself.
