How to Make Chrome Your Default Browser on a PC or Mac

Here are the steps on how to make Chrome your default browser on a PC or Mac:

PC

1. Open Chrome.
2. Click the three dots in the top right corner of the window.
3. Select “Settings.”
4. Scroll down and select “Appearance.”
5. Under “Default browser,” select “Make Google Chrome your default browser.”
6. Click “Set default.”

Mac

1. Open Chrome.
2. Click the Chrome menu (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner of the window.
3. Select “Preferences.”
4. Click “General.”
5. Under “Default browser,” select “Make Google Chrome your default browser.”
6. Click “Set Default.”
