How to Import Bookmarks Into Google Chrome

You can easily import bookmarks from another browser into Google Chrome. Here’s how:

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of the screen to open the Chrome menu.
  3. Select “Bookmarks” and then click on “Import bookmarks and settings” from the drop-down menu.
  4. In the “Import bookmarks and settings” dialog box, select the browser you want to import bookmarks from. You can choose from a range of popular browsers, including Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Internet Explorer.
  5. Choose the items you want to import. By default, Chrome will import your browsing history, bookmarks, saved passwords, and autofill data from the selected browser. You can uncheck any items you don’t want to import.
  6. Click “Import” to begin the process.
  7. Once the import is complete, your bookmarks will be available in Google Chrome. To access them, click on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of the screen to open the Chrome menu, select “Bookmarks,” and then choose the folder where your imported bookmarks are located.

Note that if you already have bookmarks in Google Chrome, your imported bookmarks will be added to a new folder called “Imported from [browser name]” in the Chrome bookmarks menu. You can move the bookmarks to a different folder if you prefer.
