Here are some ways to fix an Apple Magic Mouse that is not working:
- Check the battery. If your Magic Mouse has a removable battery, make sure that the batteries are inserted correctly and that they are not dead. If your Magic Mouse has a built-in battery, make sure that it is charged.
- Turn the mouse off and on again. Sometimes, simply turning the mouse off and on again can fix the problem. To turn the mouse off, slide the power switch on the bottom of the mouse to the Off position. To turn the mouse on, slide the power switch to the On position.
- Unpair and repair the mouse. If the mouse is still not working, you can try unpairing and repairing it. To unpair the mouse, go to System Preferences > Bluetooth.
