There are two ways to enable the Ultimate Performance power plan in Windows 10:
Using the Control Panel
- Open the Control Panel.
- Click on “System and Security”.
- Click on “Power Options”.
- On the left side, click on “Show additional plans”.
- Select “Ultimate Performance”.
- Click on “Change plan settings”.
- Click on “Change advanced power settings”.
- In the “Processor power management” section, set the “Minimum processor state” to 100%.
- Click on “OK” to save your changes.
Using the Command Prompt
- Open the Command Prompt as administrator.
- Type the following command and press Enter:

- The Ultimate Performance power plan will now be listed in the Power Options window.
Once you have enabled the Ultimate Performance power plan, your computer will use all of its resources to achieve the best possible performance. However, this may also lead to increased power consumption and heat generation. Therefore, you should only use this power plan when you need the absolute best performance from your computer.
Here are some additional things to keep in mind when using the Ultimate Performance power plan:
- This power plan is not available on all computers.
- This power plan may not be compatible with all software.
- This power plan may not be suitable for all workloads.
If you experience any problems with the Ultimate Performance power plan, you can always revert back to a different power plan.
