How to Disable Startup Programs in Windows

To disable startup programs in Windows, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Task Manager: Right-click on the taskbar and select Task Manager from the menu.
  2. Go to the Startup tab: Once the Task Manager is open, go to the Startup tab.
  3. Disable the programs you don’t want to start at startup: In the Startup tab, you’ll see a list of programs that start up with your computer. To disable a program, simply right-click on it and select Disable.
  4. Confirm the action: You’ll be prompted to confirm the action. Click on Disable to confirm and close the Task Manager.

That’s it! The program you disabled won’t start up with your computer the next time you turn it on. You can always go back to the Startup tab in Task Manager and re-enable any programs you want to start up with your computer again.
