Here are the steps on how to delete Instagram messages:

On the Instagram app

1. Open the Instagram app.
2. Go to the conversation that you want to delete messages from.
3. Tap and hold on the message that you want to delete.
4. Tap Delete.
5. Tap Delete again to confirm.

You can also delete multiple messages at once by tapping and holding on the first message, then tapping on the other messages that you want to delete. Once you have selected all of the messages that you want to delete, tap Delete.

On the web

1. Go to www.instagram.com.
2. Sign in to your account.
3. Click on the Messenger icon in the top right corner.
4. Find the conversation that you want to delete messages from.
5. Click on the three dots icon in the top right corner of the conversation.
6. Select Delete.
7. Click on Delete again to confirm.

Deleting messages on Instagram will remove them from your chat history, but they will still be visible to the other person in the conversation. If you want to delete messages for both you and the other person, you can unsend the messages.

To unsend a message, follow these steps:

On the Instagram app
