To cancel your Amazon Prime membership, you can do so on both desktop and mobile devices. Here are the steps for both platforms:

On Desktop:

  1. Open a web browser and go to the Amazon website (www.amazon.com).
  2. Sign in to your Amazon account if you’re not already logged in.
  3. Hover over the “Accounts & Lists” option in the top-right corner of the Amazon homepage.
  4. In the drop-down menu that appears, click on “Your Prime Membership.”
  5. On the next page, you’ll see your Prime membership details, including the membership type and renewal date. Look for the “End Membership and Benefits” link on the left side of the page and click on it.
  6. Amazon will then provide information about what you’ll lose when you cancel, such as access to Prime Video, Kindle Owners’ Lending Library, and other benefits. Review this information.
  7. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and you’ll find the option to “Cancel Membership.” Click on it.
  8. You’ll be prompted to confirm your cancellation. Click “Continue to Cancel.”
  9. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the cancellation process. You may be asked to provide a reason for canceling.
  10. Once you’ve completed the cancellation steps, Amazon will send you a confirmation email.

On Mobile (Amazon App):

  1. Open the Amazon app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap the three horizontal lines (hamburger menu) in the top-left corner of the app to open the menu.
  3. Scroll down and tap on “Your Account.”
  4. Under the “Account Settings” section, tap on “Manage Prime Membership.”
  5. You’ll see your Prime membership details, including the membership type and renewal date. Tap on “Manage Membership.”
  6. Amazon will provide information about what you’ll lose when you cancel your Prime membership. Review this information.
  7. Scroll down, and you’ll find the option to “End Membership and Benefits.” Tap on it.
  8. You’ll be prompted to confirm your cancellation. Tap “Continue to Cancel.”

After canceling your Amazon Prime membership, you’ll continue to have access to Prime benefits until the end of your current billing cycle.
