How to Add Contacts to Gmail

Adding contacts to Gmail is a simple process. Follow the steps below to add a contact to your Gmail account:

  1. Open Gmail: Go to the Gmail website and log in to your account.
  2. Click on the “Google apps” icon: This is the icon with nine small squares in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Click on “Contacts”: This will take you to your Google Contacts page.
  4. Click on the “Create contact” button: This is the red button with a plus sign in the bottom right corner of the screen.
  5. Enter the contact information: Enter the contact’s name, email address, phone number, and any other relevant information in the fields provided.
  6. Save the contact: Click on the “Save” button in the top right corner of the screen to save the contact.

Alternatively, you can add a contact directly from an email message by hovering over the sender’s name and clicking on “Add to Contacts” in the pop-up menu.

Once you have added a contact, you can view and manage your contacts by clicking on the “Contacts” button in the left sidebar of the Gmail interface. From here, you can edit or delete contacts, as well as create contact groups and labels for easier organization.
